three ways to work together:
Birth Classes
Everything you need to know to birth, no matter how or where you birth. We’ll also address your own mindset, beliefs, stories, and power as parents.
IRL Support
I offer in-person birth and postpartum doula support in the Bay Area (Berkeley, Oakland, Albany, El Cerrito, San Francisco and beyond).
Virtual Support
Whether you’re missing community support where you are or would rather have someone available remotely, we’ll connect before, during, and after birth.
WELCOME TO BIRTH.DIY
Why DIY?
You know there’s a better way to birth than the norm.
You want the resources and perspective that will actually make a difference for your birth experience.
You know birth is often hard, but can be beautiful—but you hear horror stories that seem random and unavoidable.
You believe in your ability to birth and want to understand how to prevent interference.
You want to talk to someone behind-the-scenes who won’t mislead you or pretend everything will be fine while also saying that birth is unpredictable.
You’re a planner and you want to plan effectively for your birth and postpartum.
You like to go with the flow and want to set yourself up to be able to flow with birth without sabotaging yourself.

I’m Anna, a keeper of the lost secrets of healthy pregnancy and autonomous birth.
I’m a birth and postpartum doula, midwifery student, educator, yoga teacher, and writer… which leads me here! I love to help embodied women prepare for intentional, psychedelic, rite-of-passage pregnancy and birth so that they can enter motherhood completely alive, confident, free, and united with their higher self and their child.
How do I DIY?

DIY is a Spectrum
No matter where or how you birth, knowing how to DIY will prevent trauma and lead to the best possible birth outcomes.
DIY is taking ultimate responsibility for yourself, your life, your choices, your body, your time, your energy, and your story.
DIY is remembering your capacity, your power, and your right to feel good.
DIY is extremely rewarding—and it can be life-saving.
